Easter Egg Update: 2024
Why aren’t we offering Easter eggs this year?
The easter eggs we offered the last two years were delicious, handmade and easy to eat bite-sized chocolates but they are super time-consuming for us to make at the size of business we currently are!
What made our chocolate easter eggs so unlike any others was because each flavour was carefully + creatively considered to blow you away with soft centres like our collaboration with Molly Rose Brewery sour apricot jam or hazelnut praline. But if it were easy or efficient to make, everyone would be doing it. 🫠
The other consideration I’ve made is due to the lack of environmentally friendly packaging options. Yes, last year we used compostable cellophane bags but I am still a little dubious that these truly biodegrade (if you have the evidence pls send my way!)
These chocolate easter eggs and even the chocolate truffle range are items I envision to be sold loose (by the gram) in the future when we’re big enough to open a shop.
In lieu of chocolate eggs, this year we’ll be soon releasing a large chocolate block inspired by Hot Cross Buns as well as keeping you stocked with your staple favourites and chocolate cakes. 🍫
